Mission and Objectives

Mission:

The Dutch HRM Network is dedicated to stimulating cutting-edge fundamental and societally relevant research and teaching in Human Resource Management, with a particular emphasis on developing partnerships between University-members of the Network aimed at collaborative teaching and research, and collaboration with businesses and Universities of Applied Sciences.

Motivated by the principles and ambitions of Open Science, we support the continuous dialogue about HRM research, education, impact, and leadership. In doing so, we empower diversity. We are open to and stimulate interdisciplinary, methodological and empirical plurality, with multi-level and multi-voice approaches to capturing the complexity of HRM reality.

Objectives:

  • Strengthening the international position of the HRM research groups and members of the network
  • Connecting and coordinating activities of the Dutch HRM Network members with international academic bodies
  • Training and development of graduate students in the field of HRM
  • Consulting activities for organizations and institutions (government, employers, companies) with HRM questions
